DeFi Kingdoms is a game, a DEX, a liquidity pool opportunity, a market of rare utility driven NFTs, and it all plays out seamlessly in the form of fantasy pixel art. As big fans of the innovation happening in DeFi and in blockchain technology in general, the team decided to create DeFi Kingdoms as a DeFi project to really embrace the full potential of the blockchain in game form. They wanted to make investing and getting those sweet returns and moon shots feel more like a game, allowing holders to not just hold a monetary token, but own a token that is usable, valuable, and that gives back to them in many fun ways. The result is a fun and synergistic game, packaging DeFi elements, and providing JEWEL token holders with an engaging and meaningful experience. The team has an extensive roadmap, planning clear and defined features for phases soon to come.

DeFi Kingdoms aims to be a whole ecosystem of features, that includes the JEWEL token, the DEX, the gardens, and NFT assets (Heroes, Equipment, and Kingdoms), as well as the game activities that can be performed with those NFTs.

At its heart, DeFi Kingdoms has a decentralized exchange that uses the tried-and-true UniswapV2 Protocol. From the Market, users can swap tokens at the current exchange rates. They can also become a Liquidity Provider by adding liquidity to any token pools they would like. The JEWEL token is the main token of value in the game, used to purchase the most useful items and unique NFTs such as Heroes and Kingdoms in the game, as well as various in-game things. Not only is the token used for in-game items, but it will also be used in liquidity mining, allowing to earn more through staking. JEWEL is also a governance token, so holders will have a say in the growth and evolution of the project. DeFi Kingdoms is at the intersection between DeFi, NFTs and games, which are three of the hottest topics in the Blockchain ecosystem at the moment. Built on Harmony One protocol, this is also a good opportunity for the Layer 1 protocol to showcase its strength in the war the top smart contract platforms are experiencing. The token is trading on its own decentralized exchange.
