Highstreet Market is a limited edition marketplace catered to inﬂuencer lead brands or product collaboration between celebrities and artists. The marketplace is available both on the browser or in the metaverse through Highstreet World. Brands like Nike or Supreme periodically drop limited edition products, however the majority of the product’s value kick in after the drop in secondary markets.

These markets are often plagued with fraud and are a logistical nightmare for all parties involved. Token based rollout strategy will allow brands to not only capture part of the resale value of their products, but also protect them from malicious 3rd parties. For players, every in game item and storefront encountered is a real product by a real brand. With direct integration to existing

e-commerce systems, players buy “phygital” products to use in the metaverse and in real life.

Highstreet aims to create the Shopify experience in an MMORPG for brands while delivering the ultimate metaverse experience for players. Inspired by classics from Nintendo and Sega, encouraged by the team’s shared addiction to MapleStory and World of Warcraft and ﬁnally consolidated by the core team’s six years of experience serving retail customers with mixed reality, Highstreet presents a true implementable roadmap to a world like those in Ready Player One and Sword Art Online.

Highstreet is created from LumiereVR, a computer vision based VR retail company established in 2015. The team has built a commerce based metaverse over the years by piecing together components built by various household names from brands like Hershey’s Chocolate to Victoria Secrets, bigger groups like L’Oréal to Madison Square Garden as well. The project also have a great list of investors including HTC, Palmdrive Capital, Cherubic Ventures from the traditional side, Mechanism, Jump Trading, and NGC from crypto. The most recent investment round was led by a combination of top-tier brands and exchanges, such as Binance, strategically placing the protocol to build interoperability between games natively in their metaverse. The team still have a long way to go to achieve its ambitious vision, but if they manage to successfully reach it, Highstreet will probably end up being a popular place.
