Otherdeed for Otherside (90%) – Gaming/Metaverse

Otherdeed for Otherside is a 200K NFT metaverse land collection by Bored Ape Yacht Club founder Yuga Labs and gaming software company and venture fund Animoca Brands. Otherdeeds are the plots of land that will be used in Otherside – a gamified, interoperable metaverse currently under development. Otherside is a MetaRPG, blending mechanics from massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs) and web3-enabled virtual worlds. The Otherside economy and marketplace run exclusively on ApeCoin ($APE). On April 30th, 2022, Yuga Labs & Animoca Brands launched the first 100K Otherdeed NFTs, airdropping 10K to BAYC holders, 20K to MAYC holders, 15K to developers, and sold 55K for 305 $APE each. The second 100K Otherdeeds will be exclusively rewarded to those who hold Otherdeeds and contribute to the development of Otherside.
Team:
Otherdeed for Otherside was created by Yuga Labs and Animoca Brands. Yuga Labs was created by Gargamel and Gordon Goner pseudonyms for friends and crypto holders/traders since 2017, Greg Solano and Wylie Aronow. They are joined by two software engineers EmperorTomatoKetchup and Sass. Yuga Labs created Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), Kennel Ape Yacht Club (KAYC), and in early March 2022, purchased the rights to Crypto Punks and Meebits from Larva Labs. Animoca Brands is a Hong Kong-based gaming software company and venture fund founded in 2014 by Yat Siu and David Kim. Animoca Brands created blockchain games REVV Motorsport, The Sandbox, Phantom Galaxies, Tower Experiment, and more.
Utility:
The Otherdeed is the key to a unique blend of environment, sediment, and treasures. There are five sediments that lands are built upon: Biogenic Swamp, Chemical Goo, Rainbow Atmos, Cosmic Dream, and Infinite Expanse. Every piece of land in the Otherside has up to four renewable resources that can be harvested and utilized: Anima, Ore, Shard, and Root. Scattered throughout Otherdeeds are artifacts such as a Sloth Juice, Fairy in a Jar, Mecha Piece, and Forged Pickaxe that will be keys to future gameplay. On 10,000 OtherDeed NFTs, there are
Kodas, primal beings that inhabit the OtherSide. Every Otherdeed is a dynamic NFT, built as a collection of all of its elements, from resources to Kodas, that is designed to evolve with holders’ gameplay. Otherside will provide a software development kit (SDK) for creators to make characters, outfits, tools, structures, and games for the Otherside. All BAYC, MAYC, BAKC, CryptoPunks, and Meebits holders will be provided with Otherside- ready 3D models of their NFTs at game launch, available as playable characters. For all other NFTs projects, users will be able to import and create their own characters via the SDK. IO: Imaginary Ones (81%) – Collectible

First covered by Token Metrics in our 2/17 NFT Cheat Sheet, we thought it would be good to cover Imaginary Ones as a post-mint project now that it scored quantitatively. The score is very high mainly due to the vast community and strong team. IO’s mission is to re-ignite the spark of imagination and creativity we all had when we were kids. The Imaginary Ones NFTs use a similar visual to Invisible Friends, an NFT project with a current floor price of nearly 5.2 ETH. Shortly before minting, the IO team experienced a FUD-storm when Twitter users claimed the team was associated with another project called Squiggles, a rug pull. The Imaginary Ones team quickly went to Discord to dispel any rumors denying any connection to the project, citing that they doxxed themselves to prove they were trustworthy individuals. However, the FUD did tank the floor price by over 40% shortly after launch. The floor has steadily increased since, and now sits at just over 1 ETH. Imaginary Ones are still pre-reveal, but the team announced yesterday that the reveal date would be May 11. Buying an NFT pre- reveal means there is still time to get lucky and potentially pick up a rare NFT at a low price.
Team:
The team of five are all doxxed and come from visual media firms Offset and Offeo. These firms have worked with powerful global brands including Samsung, Ford, Twitter, and Binance. In total, Offeo has worked with over 300,000 brands worldwide.
Utility:
Holders of the NFT will receive invites to in-person meetups, access to high- end NFT tools, token airdrops, and voice in the direction of a community fund. Imaginary Ones owners will also have the ability to receive limited edition merch and physical toys representing the IO brand. Pre-Mint Projects
SkyVerse – Metaverse

SkyVerse is a collection of 5,000 Genesis Sky Islands NTFs that will be built upon various metaverses including The Sandbox and NFT Worlds. The project has partnered with several other high-profile NFT projects such as Sneaky Vampire Syndicate, Llamaverse, Project Godjira, and PxQuest to bridge communities in the metaverse. 95% of mint funds and 100% of royalties will be transferred to the SkyVault for development purposes. Besides access to SkyTown (The Sandbox) and SkyWorlds (NFT Worlds) metaverses, SkyVerse NFTs provide holders access to SkyTicketer, Flipper.GG, SkyPixel, future collections, and the $SKY token.
Team:
SkyVerse was created by Jeppy who has 6 years of social media marketing E-commerce experience. Jeppy is joined by 3D artist Berela who has 5 years of digital modeling experience in Blender and has been creating art for 25 years. The developers of SkyVerse are Sayak, a front-end developer with 6 years of experience, and Tech Chief, a back-end developer who has 10 years of experience and has worked on Project Godjira and Dysto Apez.
Utility:
Besides access to SkyTown (The Sandbox) and SkyWorlds (NFT Worlds) metaverses, SkyVerse NFTs provide holders access to the $SKY token, SkyTicketer, Flipper.GG, SkyPixel, and future collections. Right after the reveal, holders can stake their Sky Islands to earn the $SKY token. SkyTicketer is a utility marketplace where holders can spend their $SKY token for raffle tickets to win WL opportunities, alpha membership passes, and other features. Flipper.GG is an NFT autobidder, stats, and rarity sniping trading tool that will be built in the SkyVerse ecosystem and paid for with $SKY. SkyPixel is a Massively Multiplayer Online 2D Community game built on top of SkyVerse that allows players to craft, trade, and build their very own Sky Islands.

Mindblowon – PFP

Mindblowon is a collection of 6,969 profile picture NFTs based on the popular Indonesian comic TAHILALATS, which translates to “skin mole” in English. This is one of the most hyped pre-mint NFT projects of the year due to the large social media followings of the Mindblowon team and the popularity of the TAHILALATS comics. Founder LickPalik began releasing the comics in 2015 and has since collaborated with brands and celebrities across all media including; Sony Pictures, HP, Playstation, Kevin Hart, Tom Holland, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. In 2021, Forbes featured TAHILALATS as the first fictional characters on their 2021 digital content creator list. Long-term, the team plans to build a metaverse for “creators, dreamers, doers, jokers, and everything in between” called the Mindblowon Universe. Mindblowon’s fair price Dutch Auction begins tomorrow (May 6) at 2 PM UTC and ends 24 hours later. The end of the Dutch Auction will mark the beginning of the private sale and last 24 hours. If any NFTs remain after these sales they will be sold to the public on May 8 at the Dutch Auction price.
Team:
The Mindblowon is one of the most stellar teams in the NFT space currently with a broad range of experience across the board. Creator LickPalik is one of the prominent cartoonists in Indonesia. Head of Marketing, Ote, is the CMO at Arktivak, the web3 studio responsible for Karafuru, a collection featured in last week’s NFT cheat sheet. One advisor, Clerkclirk, is building scholarzNFT and codeXweb3, and is an advisor for Memeland, Karafuru, and ACYCapital. Another advisor is NFT project, Project Godjira which has a current floor price of over 17
ETH. Animation studio Seeds Motion is working to build their metaverse. In the past, the studio has worked with Netflix, Unilever, Vice Media, and HP.
Utility:
Little has been discussed in regards to utility. The team has said that they are seeking to build utility that will give Mindblowon the staying power to be a long-term player in the NFT space. Most assume holding the collection will give users access to the Mindblowon universe.

Mindblowon is nearing 300,000 followers on Twitter and has over 65,000 members in its Discord channel. Additionally, the TAHILALATS Twitter account has over 900,000 followers.
