World of Women (WoW) is one of the first women-centered NFT projects. It celebrates representation, inclusivity, and equal opportunity. Since the crypto space is quite male-dominated, the WoW NFT project is a refreshing take on the common profile picture narrative. These NFTs are colorful artworks representing a diverse collection of powerful, influential women. The project has committed to giving back, as 15% of its primary sales were reinvested in crypto art and 7.5% of the primary sales were donated to three different women-focused charities.

World of Women was founded by four friends, with Yam Karkai taking the lead. She is an NFT artist who focuses on bringing women into the spotlight.
WoW’s team currently consists of 9 people.
Utility:
Each WoW NFT will give one vote to the World of Women DAO, give access to mint WoW’s secondary collection for free, and give access to the WoW Gala in Summer 2022.

World of Women’s Twitter page has approximately 96,000 followers and its Discord has approximately 27,000 members. Reese Witherspoon, MC Hammer, Eva Longoria, Shonda Rhimes, and a number of other influential people own WoW NFTs. WoW has also signed a deal with Universal Music Group and partnered with Coinbase.

Azuki is a collection of 10,000 avatars that grant their holders access to “the garden.” This “garden” is a members-only internet collective designed to connect culture, art, and community. Azuki holders gain access to exclusive streetwear drops, in-person events, NFT drops, and more according to their website. The goal of Azuki is to build a decentralized metaverse brand owned by the community.

Fancy Bears Metaverse is a club where NFT holders can hang out with artists, athletes, influencers, and more. 8,888 bears were minted on January 7th and sold out in eight minutes. Honorary Fancy Bears members include Floyd Mayweather, Jay Alvarez, and dance group Ayo & Teo. Powered by Fanadise, an NFT platform for influencers to monetize their audiences.

Founders Jakub Chmienlniak and Bartek Sibiga both have large Twitter
followings and hold Bored Ape NFTs.
Utility:
Fancy Bear holders receive a t-shirt after three months and hoodie after six months of holding. Exclusive deals for brands partnered with the club. Invitation to real life events. Honey airdrops, similar to BAYC serum, with the first airdrop happening in February. All holders will be placed in a lottery to win a ferrari.

Nearly 39,000 accounts follow Fancy Bears on Twitter, including a follow from YouTube personality Spencer. With 1.6 million subscribers. The Discord channel has nearly 110,000 members.

SIDUS is an triple-A play-to-earn NFT-based in-browser RPG. There were 4,000 original NFT Heroes available for purchase, and they could be morphed into 1,000 Rare Heroes and 500 Legendary Heroes using upgrade cards and the Galaxy Modificator.

SIDUS has four co-founders who have previously created one of the biggest
blockchain software and game development companies, collaborated with BMW, Coca-Cola, Singapore’s Changi Airport, received ten international architectural awards, and won 12 video game awards. A total of team members are working on this project.
Utility:
The NFT Heroes themselves are avatars and gaming characters. They can accumulate liquidity using SIDUS’s NFT wrapping feature, and can be staked using SIDUS’s NFT yield farming feature.

SIDUS’s Twitter page has approximately 330,000 followers and its Discord has around 207,000 members. Many of the top crypto VCs, including Animoca Brands, Alameda Research, Polygon, Magnus Capital, and Master Ventures, have invested in SIDUS’s private sale.

Invisible Friends – PFP

Invisible Friends is a profile picture NFT project and part of the Random Character Collective, which features two existing NFT projects: SlimHoods & MoodRollers. The NFTs are invisible cartoon characters in the form of a GIF. This project is one of the largest and fastest-growing pre-mint projects we have seen this year.
Team:
This is a project by Markus Magnusson, a popular illustrator and animator.
There is no other information on other team members.
Utility:
There is no information on the utility of this project besides its aesthetic appeal.
Social Media Metrics:
The Invisible Friends Twitter page has some 337,000 followers and its Discord has about 250,000 members. The project plans to have a 3-D collaboration with Nguyen Nhut in mid-2022. Many high profile-people entities, like Gary Vaynerchuk and musical group The Chainsmokers, follow the project’s Twitter page.

Gooniez Gang – Gaming

Gooniez Gang NFTs will be avatars in the Gooniez Gang play-to-earn racing game. The beta version will launch in Q3 2022. These 3-D ducks have the likeness of Donald Duck and Daffy Duck, but come with a chaotic edge.

The team has not publicly announced who they are, besides revealing they
had previously worked on film series like Transformers and X-Men.
Utility:
Besides being avatars in the Gooniez Gang racing game, the NFTs offer opportunities to purchase Gooinez 3D collectibles, to earn $GANG tokens, and to have exclusive IRL experiences.

Murakami’s Flowers – Art

Takashi Murakami is one of the most renowned contemporary artists in the world today. Having worked with brands such as Louis Vuitton and celebrities like Kanye West and Billie Eilish, Murakami has cemented himself as a cultural icon.
More recently, he collaborated with RTFKT Studios on their recent CloneX NFT drop. We know little about his flowers project today, except that he hopes to drop it in February.
Team:
The project is being released by Murakami’s art production company, KaiKai Kiki.
Nothing is known about the technical team behind the project.
Utility:
No information on utility has been released at this point in time.
